FIT TO PRINT

Has compiled 42 in an online interactive.

The editors of The New York Times on Tuesday compiled 42 of its most memorable front pages from last year in a new interactive section. The pages include headlines like “Upset by Gingrich Shifts G.O.P. campaign” from back in January all the way to December’s now-famous front page with the Newtown shooting victims. The pages can all be sorted by theme or by user-submitted keywords. Readers can also submit their own reactions and share their favorites via social media.
