DOJ lawyers said to be planning case.

It's official: CBS is reporting that the United States federal government will challenge Arizona's controversial immigration law in court. According to a senior Obama administration official, Department of Justice lawyers are currently working on putting together a case. This news comes on the heels of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's comments about the Arizona immigration law in a June 8 interview for Ecuadorean TV, which drew quite a bit of attention: "President Obama has spoken out against the law because he thinks that the federal government should be determining immigration policy," she said. "And the Justice Department, under his direction, will be bringing a lawsuit against the act."
