Barack Obama’s afternoon just got busier: According to Politico, he’s meeting with “grassroots leaders” on immigration this afternoon. The Daily Beast’s Bryan Curtis reported Monday that Jorge Ramos, a popular Univision anchor, was blasting Obama for his inaction on immigration after Obama promised to pursue it within one year of being elected. “I believed him and millions of Latinos believed him,” Ramos said, adding, “The fact is, at this point, we can say Barack Obama broke a promise. It’s that simple.” Obama’s popularity among Latinos has fallen sharply in the last five months.
