David Cameron opted for an artsy token for Obamappreciation—a painting by Ben Eine.
As is customary for visiting dignitaries, David Cameron brought President Obama a little happy from the homeland. The painting, Twenty First Century City, is one of the British street artist’s most notable. Eine is rumored to have painted some of the graffiti pieces attributed to Banksy. The prime minister’s wife, Samantha, is said to be a huge fan of Eine, and encouraged the gift.
UPDATE: Sure not to miss any diplomatic cues, Obama returned the gesture with his own gift of art—a lithograph by Ed Rushca (who's from Nebraska, just like Warren Buffett...).
