The Obama campaign is back up and running after a brief hiatus following the movie-theater shootings in Colorado. The president preemptively and indirectly attacked opponent Mitt Romney for his lack of foreign-policy experience while speaking to the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention in Reno, Nev. In the first time he'd spoken to the group since his 2008 election, Obama reminded the audience that he kept his promise about getting rid of Osama bin Laden. Without mentioning Romney by name, Obama denounced those who've argued that "bringing our troops home last year was a mistake" and added, "When you're commander in chief, you owe the troops a plan. You owe the country a plan."
