What happened to a good old-fashioned beer summit? President Obama and Speaker of the House John Boehner are scheduled to golf together on June 18, the president’s aides announced. Obama extended the invite weeks ago, but they’ve finally found a convenient time. Both are avid golfers; Obama said in April that hitting the greens is “the only excuse I have to get outside for four hours at a stretch.” But the president’s handicap is between 16 and 24, while Boehner’s is between 5 and 8. Boehner previously joked, “I’m sure I’ll have to give him strokes.”
