The Obama campaign is facing the oncoming slew of attacks from the Karl Rove-backed Crossroads group head on. Following a video that accuses Obama of breaking promises to homeowners, the president's deputy campaign manager has taken to YouTube to say, "Karl Rove's group Crossroads is spending $25 million from secret donors to tear down the president in a new ad. Time to tear this thing apart." Crossroads has already vowed to devote $8 million to running the ad in 10 key election states, planning to spend $25 million total on airing their message over the next month. "Karl Rove is relying on you to do nothing to call out his B.S., and I know you'll prove him wrong," the Obama countervideo declares.
