The Obama administration has issued new rules allowing investigators to hold domestic-terror suspects longer without reading them their Miranda rights. Previously, investigators could withhold a reading of one’s rights if there was an imminent public threat. Obama’s new rules, according to an FBI memo, allow investigators to delay reading Miranda rights if they "conclude that continued unwarned interrogation is necessary to collect valuable and timely intelligence not related to any immediate threat."
