Enough with the multitasking: President Obama is cutting short his trip to Latin America, leaving El Salvador on Tuesday evening and skipping a planned tour of Mayan ruins on Wednesday morning. “It’s logistical,” said a National Security Council spokesman. “He’s doing a call in the a.m. with his national-security team, and thus will not have time to visit the ruins. So he’ll be wheels up a couple hours earlier.” Critics have blasted Obama for being in Brazil, Chile, and El Salvador during the beginnings of allied airstrikes in Libya.
