President Obama is pretty bummed out that he had to change the venue of his DNC acceptance speech due to crummy weather since there won't be room indoors for the approximately 65,000 people who'd planned to hear him speak outside. Still, he doesn't want that to keep his supporters from staying amped about his reelection. On a conference call to supporters Thursday Obama said, "I want to begin by saying how much I regret that we're not all gathering together in one place to deliver my acceptance speech tonight." While he was originally going to accept the Democratic Party's nomination for president at the Bank of America Stadium, thunderstorm warnings forced convention organizers to move the event indoors, to the Time Warner Cable Arena, where the other major speeches have taken place this week.
