Speaking from his vacation spot in Martha’s Vineyard Monday, President Obama said the situation in Libya is still precarious, but that it was clear the Gaddafi regime is crumbling. Obama said that while the rebels’ struggle to end the regime has reached a climax, Gaddafi isn’t gone yet, and that parts of the regime remain dangerous. The president highlighted the need for careful actions to ensure a peaceful transition to a new government.
