So many donors, he just can't stay away.

The president has four fundraisers in the Golden State this week, which has proved to be somewhat of a gold mine for his reelection campaign lately. He’s already raised $44 million in California during this election cycle, which CNN senior political analyst Ron Brownstein says is hardly a surprise. “California has been a critical source of funds for Democratic presidents since the Warner Brothers helped lead Hollywood into Franklin Roosevelt’s camp in the 1930s. The rise of Silicon Valley in the 1990s reinforced California’s importance for Democrats, providing them two lucrative sources of funds.”
