During his visit to the Phoenix VA, President Obama met briefly on Friday with the parents and brother of Kayla Mueller, the female aid worker who died while held captive by ISIS. According to the White House, the president offered Carl and Marsha Mueller, as well as her brother Eric Mueller, his condolences from him and First Lady Michelle Obama. The president also reportedly talked about the family’s work to set up a foundation in her name to help others, and about “Kayla's compassion and dedication to assisting those in need around the world.” No other details were released.
