They weren’t invited to Wills and Kate’s wedding, but the Obamas are getting their own taste of the royal lifestyle this week. President Obama, in London for a state visit, was welcomed lavishly, with a 62-gun salute, a rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, and a state dinner with Queen Elizabeth II. The Obamas will spend two nights in the Buckingham Palace suite that Will & Kate used on their wedding night. Such state visits occur only twice yearly.
