President Obama has commissionsed a report from U.S. intelligence agencies probing hacking attacks connected to the U.S. presidential election. According to White House counterterrorism adviser Lisa Monaco, the report will be provided to Congress before Obama leaves office and will not necessarily be made public. It will investigate what, if any, impact breach attempts by Russian agents may have had on the election results.
