President Obama and his Republican challenger, Mitt Romney, vied for country music fans on Wednesday night in a pre-recorded segment at the CMT awards. In faux news segment that included rocker Jon Bon Jovi, journalist Steve Kroft and actor Matthew McConaughey, Obama and Romney try to weigh in between choosing between Toby Keith and Kristen Bell as hosts of the country music awards. Calling it “one of the toughest choices decisions I’ve had to make since I’ve been in office,” Obama chooses both, saying “I just put two people back to work. You’re welcome, America.” Romney also chimes in, saying “boy, I thought the presidential race was a tough race, but it’s nothing compared to the politics at the CMT awards.”
