Obama Signed Up for Obamacare

Just in time for Monday’s deadline for January 1 coverage, President Obama signed up for federal health care over the weekend. According to the White House, the President used the D.C. marketplace and chose one of the bronze plans, which have the lowest premiums. While the President’s enrollment was purely symbolic, as he will continue to receive military-provided health care, a White House official said Obama “was pleased to participate in a plan as a show of support for these marketplaces which are providing quality, affordable health-care options to more than a million people.”
