Coming down to the wire: President Obama’s speech is “still being written, much of it by the president himself,” according to the Associated Press. White House officials said the president's speech will “answer all the major questions.” In an interview with Good Morning America on Wednesday, Obama said, "I'm open to new ideas. We're not being rigid and ideological about this thing." According to The Wall Street Journal, Obama plans to endorse a public option. He will insist that such a plan will not enjoy an advantage over private plans.
