Obama Takes on Boehner on Tax Cuts

Over Bush tax cuts.

No jokes about John Boehner being a “person of color” this time? President Obama took on the House minority leader in a speech about the economy in Ohio on Wednesday. "Let me be clear to Mr. Boehner and everyone else. We should not hold middle-class tax cuts hostage any longer,” he said. Obama was calling for an extension of the Bush tax cuts for those making less than $250,000 a year; Boehner and the Republican caucus are refusing to grant an extension however unless it also includes people making more than $250,000.
