Heralds transition to democracy.

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s resignation is just the beginning, not the end, of the transition to democracy, says President Obama. He’s confident that the transition will go well, and that the military will continue its responsible work, he said in an address at the White House. The revolution in Egypt is also a lesson in the power of peaceful protest, he said. "Egyptians have inspired us" by putting the "lie to the idea that justice must be gained through violence.”
