President Obama is close to having the U.S. military train “moderate” Syrian rebels, The Wall Street Journal reported Tuesday morning. The training program would supplement a small, CIA-led program, which has been underway for a year. The CIA program was covertly authorized by Obama, so U.S. officials won’t discuss it. Obama will signal new support for the rebels during a commencement address at West Point on Wednesday.
