In attempt to get the public optimistic about Obamacare since HealthCare.gov’s dismal start, President Obama plans to launch a three-week sales drive at the White House—a campaign that will promote a different benefit each day until December 23, the enrollment deadline. Because the site appears to be (mildly) back on track, after reports of large numbers of errors and functioning problems, the administration feels it’s time to get back to the root of why Obamacare was launched “The fact that they feel comfortable doing that is a healthy sign for the president but also for the long-term benefits of Obamacare,” a former Obama advirser said.
