President Obama called on Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych to immediately withdraw security forces from the streets of Kiev after they were caught on tape firing automatic weapons at protesters. The violence restarted after a short-lived truce broke Wednesday night. About 100 people have been killed since Tuesday, according to a medic working with protesters. On Thursday alone, at least 70 protesters died and 500 were injured in clashes, while the Interior Ministry reports that 67 troops were captured.
