Obama: Trump Will Not Be President

President Obama dismissed the idea of Donald Trump as a serious presidential candidate, adding that he thinks the American people are too “sensible” to elect him. “I continue to believe Mr. Trump will not be president,” he said Tuesday. “And the reason is that I have a lot of faith in the American people. Being president is a serious job. It’s not hosting a talk show, or a reality show.” Trump later responded to the president’s comment, calling it a “compliment” as he believes Obama has poor judgment of presidential performance. “He has done such a lousy job as president. You look at our budgets. You look at our spending. We can’t beat ISIS. Obamacare is terrible,” he said. “We’re going to terminate it.”
