After taking heat this week not showing more visible leadership in the BP oil disaster, President Obama announced that he will return to the Gulf Coast for the fourth time next week, visiting Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida on Monday and Tuesday. It will be his most extensive visit since BP's oil rig exploded on April 20th. The White House said the president will “further assess the latest efforts to counter the BP oil spill.” Obama canceled a previously scheduled trip to Indonesia last week in order to deal “with many important issues, one of which is oil spill,” press secretary Robert Gibbs said Friday.
