Obama's Cholesterol on the Rise

Everyone knows President Clinton loved his fast food, but what about Obama? This week, the president received a physical exam and learned that his cholesterol—both his total cholesterol and his LDL cholesterol—had risen since his last exam in 2007. The president told reporters he needed to "make sure that I'm walking off some of that cholesterol. That's a year of campaigning right there." According to White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs, the spike is the result of cheeseburgers and desserts, which surprised many as Obama has been a strong proponent of healthy eating. Gibbs joked to the press room, "You guys thought he carried arugula in his pocket to snack on.”
