One of President Obama’s favorite congressman has been kicked to the curb: Democrat Tom Perriello, who won by just 727 votes in 2008, lost his Virginia House seat to Republican Robert Hurt. Even a last-minute visit by President Obama couldn’t save him. With over half of precincts reporting, he’s down over seven points. Tuesday morning, Perriello representatives reported a break-in in his office. Another Virginia Democrat, Rick Boucher, has lost.
