Barack Obama, baller. To celebrate his birthday, the president of the United States gathered his own all-star NBA team, featuring some of the league’s biggest names—including LeBron James, Dwayne Wade, Carmelo Anthony, the Phoenix Suns' Grant Hill, and the Houston Rockets' Shane Battier—and, of course, himself. While the men (plus UConn’s Maya Moore) played a two-hour game at a gym inside Washington's Fort McNair, an audience of wounded soldiers and participants in the White House's mentoring program looked on. Along with present-day legends, retired greats including Bill Russell and Magic Johnson also made an appearance.
