On your mark, get set, roll! The Obamas kicked off the 134th annual White House Easter Egg Roll on Monday, with some 30,000 kids and their parents filling the South Lawn for the traditional race and other events. The president and first lady greeted everyone from the South Portico, joined by their daughters, Malia and Sasha, and the Easter Bunny himself. Thousands of little ones took off with their eggs after President Obama blew the starting whistle, and he announced a winner as the first kid crossed the finish line. The event—dubbed “Let’s Go, Let’s Play, Let’s Move” as part of Mrs. Obama’s obesity-fighting campaign—included obstacle courses, sports events with NBA stars and Olympic athletes, a yoga garden, and book reading with Malia, Sasha, and the first lady.
