On Friday night, President Obama and his family crowded along with hundreds others on the White House’s Ellipse to push the button that lit up the 90th National Christmas Tree. Though it was rainy and a chilly 40 degrees, the crowd joined in the countdown to the Colorado blue spruce’s lighting. The ceremony, which was hosted by Jane Lynch, also featured performances by Mariah Carey and Joshua Bell.
