Brownies and bipartisanship were on the menu at the White House Super Bowl bash, with the president entertaining football fans from both sides of the aisle. CNN reports the 40-seat White House theater was filled to capacity and guests, along with dozens of their Wii-playing children, spilled over into the East Room. Arizona Republican Rep. Trent Franks, who voted against the president’s stimulus package earlier in the week, said he enjoyed himself despite losing a bet to Pennsylvania Democrat Rep. Mike Doyle. (Franks has to wear a Steelers jersey on the House floor Wednesday.) The group kept the rivalry to football and left politics aside for the night.
