Kardashian Goes Scorched Earth on A-Lister in Profane Tirade

The actress publicly insulted Kardashian as “annoying.”

Kourtney Kardashian, 47, slammed Oscar winner Jennifer Lawrence, 36 for calling her “annoying” during Vanity Fair’s lie detector test.

Footage from the Season 8 premiere of The Kardashians shows Kardashian complaining about her 70-year-old mother Kris Jenner’s friendship with Lawrence.

Lawrence, Jenner, and actress Emma Stone, 37, have been close since 2015 when Lawrence’s friends invited Jenner to her 25th birthday party. After hearing Jenner had spoken with Lawrence, Kardashian ranted to her friend.

“‘F--- that b---h Jennifer Lawrence,’ I said to my mom,” Kardashian said. “‘OK, she thinks she’s one of my sisters? I’ll f---ing slap the s--t out of her.’”

Then, in a whiplash reversal, Kardashian told her friend that Lawrence reached out after the incident to apologize. Kardashian’s sister Kim, 45, had given Lawrence Kardashian’s email address; Lawrence wrote, “I just feel like I’m one of your sisters.” Kourtney Kardashian admitted that the message was “so nice.”

Since then, Kardashian said her perspective has changed. She said she realized the clip wasn’t “that bad” after rewatching it, but that her emotions were heightened because a season of The Kardashians was airing at the same time.

“It was a really sensitive week when she sent it,” Kardashian said. “I felt like our show was airing and everybody was ganging up on me.”

Lawrence is aware of her loose tongue and her tendency to say “insane” things during press tours.

“I think that when I do press, I should do half what normal people do,” Lawrence said on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast in Jan. “Because I see my quotes and they’re insane. Like, ‘Jennifer Lawrence calls Kourtney Kardashian annoying.’ It carries.”
