Trump Nemesis Brings Receipts to Mock His Tiny Crowd Size

The president insists he has filled every arena during his desperate election roadshow—despite clear evidence to the contrary.

Seth Meyers is exposing Donald Trump’s half-filled arenas on the midterms campaign trail.

The late-night host and Trump nemesis ripped into the 80-year-old president, who has insisted he has filled every arena, stadium, and venue nationwide, despite widespread reports to the contrary.

“I wouldn’t say filling up an arena is proof you should be president,” began Meyers. “If anything, it proves you should be a monster truck, and you would make a great monster truck. You’re loud, you steamroll whatever’s in front of you, and you often make a face that looks like your radiator overheated.”

Meyers said Trump was “fact-checked by the camera” at one of his events, then panned to dozens of empty upper-deck seats. Despite this, Trump has declared his own popularity, announcing at the rally, “By the time we max out everything that you’ve ever seen, there’s never been anything like it.”

Meyers responded to Trump’s blatant “overselling,” saying, “We can see the empty seats, and it’s fine. It’s still a decent crowd, but don’t oversell it.”

“You can’t say there’s never been anything like it, because there has. It’s, in fact, the most like an arena audience I’ve ever seen,” he laughed.

He continued to encourage Trump to try some new material or try to keep gas prices down–both of which could help him achieve the seats he so desires.

“You’ve been doing the same material for ten years straight. No wonder people are bailing. I mean, who wants to see that?” he said. “Everyone’s very familiar with your riff on how toilets don’t flush, or windmills kill birds, or most people don’t know there’s a ‘B’ in the word ‘dumb.’”

He concluded, “Dude’s got to get some new material.”
