The Memphis police department responded to a 911 call at a residential home on Tuesday at which point an officer was shot in the foot. According to officers on the scene, the suspect was inside holding three people hostage. A 7-year-old was able to escape but two others are still inside. The suspect is threatening to harm those individuals as police are in a standoff.
