Washington power player John Wheeler, 66, whose body was found in a Delaware landfill, was seen acting erratically and confused in the hours before his death. Wheeler, believed murdered, was a long-time Pentagon official and adviser to the last three Republican presidents. Wheeler reportedly asked a pharmacist for a ride home and was seen out in the cold with a shoe in hand and no coat. He was also identified in an office building's surveillance video and a police spokesman told NBC News, "On this video, Mr. Wheeler appears confused." Investigators say that Wheeler may have been linked to incendiary devices found at the home of his neighbor, with whom Wheeler was apparently involved in a property dispute. Though police have ruled his death a murder, they are still searching for a weapon and a crime scene.
