A 17-year-old student has been pronounced brain dead one day after the high-school shooting that killed another 16-year-old and left three others wounded. School has been canceled in Chardon, Ohio, while police continued their investigation into the shooting. The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence reported that the shooting was the worst at a U.S. high school in 11 months. While police have not yet identified the shooter, local media outlets as well as the young man’s family’s lawyer have identified him as T.J. Lane.
