O.J. Simpson said that he agreed with President Trump’s condemnation of NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem, according to an interview with Buffalo News. “I think Colin made a mistake,” Simpson said. “I really appreciate what he was trying to say. I thought he made a bad choice in attacking the flag...The flag shouldn’t be disrespected because of what cops do. The flag represents what we want America to be.” He also expressed concerns that he suffered from CTE, a degenerative brain disease caused by repeated head injuries. “I know with me, I have days I can't find words,” he said. “I literally cannot find words or the name of somebody I know. That gets a little scary.” He also said that he’s happy in his “forced retirement,” since he was placed on parole five months ago.
