The hits keep on coming for Lance Armstrong. The International Olympic Committee said on Thursday that it would be investigating Armstrong's bronze medal at the 2000 Olympics after he was stripped of his seven Tour de France titles. The International Cycling Union has erased all of Armstrong's victories from August 1998 forward, and his Sydney medal falls squarely in the tainted time period, although in a different competition. The Olympic committee has an eight-year statute of limitations for changing Olympic results and stripping medals, but IOC vice president Thomas Bach suggested there could be ways around the time-limit issue.
