O’Malley: Presidency ‘Not Some Crown’

To be shared by two families

Former governor of Maryland and potential Hillary Clinton rival Martin O’Malley hit Clinton on Sunday, declaring, "The presidency of the United States is not some crown to be passed between two families.” O’Malley also said, "I think that our country always benefits from new leadership and new perspectives. We need a president who's on our side, a president who's willing to take on powerful, wealthy special interests.” When asked if Clinton would stand up to special interest, O’Malley responded, “I don’t know. I don’t know where she stands.”
