Omar Sharif, an actor best known for his leading roles in Lawrence of Arabia and Doctor Zhivago, died Friday at the age of 83. His agent said he suffered a heart attack in Cairo. Sharif was the winner of two Golden Globes and was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease earlier this year.
