"This be the blog of feminist, photography and fashion maverick Ophelia Horton. An avid reader of Girl Guts and ROOKIE-mag, I love all sparkles and anything by Meadham Kirchhoff. I post about what I like. Here I'll be your guide to being uber-awesome, brilliant, intriguing and inevitably, the majorly cool person you are already. Joking, half the time I have no idea what I'm on about :)"

"my wonderful mother just came back from Parieee (is the key to your ‘art)! And brought me back the cutest lace collar (from Zara!) It is oh-so Louise Vuitton S/S 12 don’t you think? And I felt like Audrey Hepburn from ‘Breakfast At Tiffany’s’ all day in my silky draws, working the pastel, lady-like and PJ trends all at one. BOOO-YAAARRHH! *How un-ladylike!* :O"

"I don’t think I’ve ever worn more of my little sister’s clothes! Smurfette top (thrift store), Pink Petticote (just something I had), little sis’s tiny spotted pink over-skirt, Ballet tights from somewhere, collar (I’m wearing a topshop white top underheath, £18) shoes Office £20, lady-bug hair clip £1.45 and H and M hair bobbles which you can’t really see, asos sunnies £12. Hope you like!"

"So I went to my cool-dude-friend Cassie’s house and she told me bout these real-cool japanese nail sticker thingys thay she got for xmas…so we thought we’d have a go…NOTE: I would do a video blog, but you have to pay an extra £60 each year for that upgrade and as my blog isn’t full-time or pro(fessinal) neither me or my parents are really willing to pay that at the moment, yea, so just sit-tight till I get a youtube account..."

"Excuse the paint that’s on the mirror, but ohhhh creepy love-heart-lips child- Just did this with eyeliner…I was trying to do my eyes, but most went all over my face some how, so I lips were the obvious option. Here’s my look for today- it’s insanely kick ass…someone asked me if I was a boy. Result. I totally bagged the adrogynous look. Wearing: Zara baroque monochrome silk blouse with collar, topshop high waisted shorts, topshop ‘doctor-who’ coat with leather collar, eyeliner (on lips) from rimmel or something and Dad’s black Crown Series hat (by Tony Merenda) at Venice Beach LA. Yea, I know, I’m wierd."

"So I got this D.I.Y off this fab site called Runway D.I.Y-you should really check it out! And there wasn’t really much to learn off the D.I.Y anyway…I had conviniently dropped a pot of ink on my shirt in art (don’t worry it’s school uniform-nothing spesh) so I guess I had a free shirt…and what do you do with shirts you can’t wear? Well you cut off the collars. Like duh. So yea..I cut off the collar…Here’s my very own D.I.Y on how to make your own Mui mui collar (or any one really)"

"This is what I wore like 2 weekends ago…I was really busy though so I didn’t upload them! So here they are. Really the Meadham Kirchhoff A/W 12 show sparked this look off, anand it sort of formed around these two accsesories: my Monster Clutch and my lurex stockings. I thought that the Meadham Kirchhoff show was really amazing, and really fun actually. There was such a variety in texture and they really approach their work as a form of art and I think that comes out really well in their collections. So I paired my chunky pink Topshop knit with some pettycoats I had lying around, the knee socks are a bit big, but I thought they suited pretty well. I wasn’t sure about if the collar fit, but I decided it kind of added some edge as such. It was hard not to just keep on adding things, but in the end I managed to balance it out…."

"Clothes: H and M blue tights, Urban Outfitters black sheer/lacy blouse, Topshop wavy detail navy dress, St. Dunstans School skirt (worn as a cape), Office plimsols navy, ‘Poppy and Daisy’ pale pink flower wreath (from spitalfields market) and face stickers from my sisters room. Makeup: just abit of eyeliner and that’s it! It’s finally up…YAY- hope you like!"
