As if anyone could hate you, Oprah. In a wide-ranging interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Oprah Winfrey discussed the early struggles of OWN, her South African girls' school, and dreams of scaling back her packed schedule. She noted the difference between herself and her best friend, Gayle, who she said has always wanted kids. "If I had kids, my kids would hate me," Winfrey says. "They would have ended up on the equivalent of the Oprah show talking about me; because something [in my life] would have had to suffer and it would've probably been them." She also discussed the struggle that comes with success and the moment she decided to leave her talk show after 25 years. "When [my producers] called me in and said, 'I know, we could take the audience to outer space,' I knew it was time to go."
