The Queen of Talk has apparently pardoned Jonathan Franzen: The New York Post says that Oprah will pick Jonathan Franzen’s Freedom for her book club on Friday. For those who remember, Franzen crossed Oprah previously when he expressed disdain with her selection of his last book, The Corrections. When Oprah heard the news, she rescinded her pick on the air. Freedom is currently on top of bestseller lists around the country.
