The Oracle team made a stunning comeback to win the America's Cup sailing championship Wednesday. The team had fallen behind 8–1 only to win the next eight contests to take the trophy 9–8 against the Emirates Team New Zealand. It was only the third time in the regatta’s 162-year history that it came down to the winner-take-all final race. This year’s race took place in the San Francisco Bay, which made the event expensive, and only four teams participated.
