Orca Reenacts ‘Friday Night Lights’ Scene

Off the coast of British Columbia, onlookers captured footage of a killer whale catapulting a seal some 80 feet into the air. The clip was taken near a large bait ball, formed when small fish form a sphere to defend themselves against predators such as seals and sea lions. Amidst the feeding frenzy this unfortunate seal found himself near the tail of the whale, which lobbed it skyward.
