Wednesday’s Baltimore Orioles game against the Chicago White Sox—which was closed to the public in order to save on public safety resources as Baltimore deals with protests over the death of Freddie Gray—earned the Orioles a new baseball record: lowest attendance ever. The previous team to hold the record, the long since defunct Worcester Worcesters, earned the title at a baseball game on Sept. 28, 1882, when only six people sat in the audience.
