Hourly employees at Camden Yards will be reimbursed for their lost wages from two postponed games, a result of the Baltimore riots over the murder of Freddie Gray. “Due to the extraordinary circumstances that led to several canceled or rescheduled games, the Orioles organization will compensate all hourly employees for hours that would have been ordinarily worked the week of April 27,” the Orioles wrote in a letter to employees on Tuesday. “This adjustment will be added to your 5-29 paycheck.”
