Adacia Chambers has been formally charged with four counts of second-degree murder, one day after allegedly plowing her vehicle through Oklahoma State University’s homecoming parade. Chambers was initially charged with driving under the influence following the Saturday morning incident that killed four and injured 47 others. On Sunday evening, Chambers’s lawyer told reporters he believes his client was not intoxicated, but rather that she suffers from mental illness. The suspect’s first court hearing is expected for Monday.
