The video shocked its viewers: A Colombian soccer player ran up to the opposition team's live owl mascot—which was stunned on the soccer field—and kicked it to the sidelines. The owl died after going into shock. “My family is very worried about what happened because an entire country is against me. I believe what happened is regrettable and I apologized to the entire country," said the soccer player Luis Moreno, who will be required to pay the owl's bills and volunteer at a zoo.
