Alex Hribal, the 16-year-old accused of stabbing 20 students and a security guard at his suburban Pittsburgh high school earlier this month was arraigned Friday on new charges. He was originally charged with four counts of attempted homicide and 21 counts of aggravated assault, but a criminal complaint submitted Friday added another 17 counts of attempted homicide against the teenager. According to the complaint, Hribal told a vice principal who tackled him during the stabbing that “my work is not done, I have more people to kill.” Police also apparently found a note in Hribal’s locker dated April 6—three days before the attack—that read, “I can’t wait to see the priceless and helpless looks on the faces of the students of one of the ‘best schools in Pennsylvania’ realize their precious lives are going to be taken by the only one among them that isn’t a plebeian.” No one was killed in the stabbing, but at least 12 were sent to the hospital where two still remain.
